Study in C Minor (Op. 105 No. 2) - Burgmuller

CA$3.00

This study prepares the student the dramatic works of the 19th century such as Chopin’s Polonaise in C# minor (Op. 26) and Schumann’s Novelette in F (Op. 21). The drama of the opening eight measures gives way to a more playful carnival-like atmosphere before proceeding to heightened excitement of the opening theme. Carful shaping of all melodic passages is important as is a wide range of tonal variety.

Pages: 2
Tempo: ♩ = 144-168
Grade: Grade 9
Composer: Friedrich Burmuller
Edition: 2022
