Charles Dutton

Charles Dutton is a passionate and dedicated piano teacher with over six years of teaching experience and a strong background in classical performance. A dynamic educator and accomplished pianist, Charles specializes in nurturing a love for music in students of all ages through personalized instruction and an encouraging approach.

He holds a Diploma in Music Performance from the Victoria Conservatory of Music, where he was named to the Dean’s Honour Roll, and has recently completed a Bachelor of Piano Performance at the University of British Columbia with High Distinction. In addition to teaching, Charles works with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s educational outreach program, introducing elementary students to classical music through live performance and interactive learning.

Charles is the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships recognizing both academic and artistic excellence, and he continues to guide young musicians to achieve their goals and grow in confidence through the power of music.
